Matthew Fishman Scholarship Fund 5K
Sunday April 6, 2025
Lace up your running shoes and join us for a scenic 5K run/walk along the Charles River at Boston’s Herter Park. Organized by Alpha Kappa Sigma, and produced by RACE Cancer Foundation, this fundraiser event honors the legacy of Matt Fishman, a '21 NEU grad and beloved musician, composer, and AKS alumni whose passion for music and unwavering spirit touched so many lives. All proceeds from the event support the Matt Fishman Scholarship, which helps high school students pursuing music—whether as performers or composers—who've been impacted by cancer or other medical hardships, personally or through a family member.
Come run, walk, or cheer in support of future musicians and the resilience that Matt embodied. Sign up today and make a difference! The first 100 entrants get a free commemorative tshirt.
